Nicola Horlick - Biography

Nicola Horlick is CEO of Bramdean Asset Management LLP, a specialist fund manager of alternative asset classes, based in Mayfair. Nicola has over twenty years of fund management experience and has been responsible for leading the development of some of the UK’s best known fund management companies, including Mercury Asset Management (now BlackRock), Morgan Grenfell Asset Management (now Aberdeen Asset Management) and SG Asset Management.

Having built assets under management to £7 billion within three years at SG Asset Management, Nicola left to join AMP in Sydney to run its fund management business, but due to family circumstances she was not able to take up this post. She set up Bramdean Asset Management LLP in 2005. Bramdean advises upon and manages $1.4 billion of alternative assets on behalf of pension funds and family offices.
